Disclaimer

The owner cannot accept any liability for any of the following events:

  • Loss of or damage to any vehicle or its contents.
  • Loss of or damage to the baggage and/or the personal belongings of the hirer.
  • Damage or injury caused by pests, exceptional weather conditions or other events outside the owner's control.
  • The use of the accommodation and any amenities or equipment supplied is entirely at the hirer's risk.

    Hirer's responsibility

During the rental period the hirer is responsible for the property and is expected to take reasonable care of it. We do request that on your departure the cottage and all its equipment and utensils are left clean and tidy. If your travel commitments mean that you have to leave the cottage very early, we are able to offer a final cleaning service at the current recommended Gite de France rate of €39.

    Breakages and Damage

We do not charge for any minor breakages but do request a damage bond of 100 euros to be paid on arrival. This will be returned at the end of the rental period, providing there have been no major breakages and the property has been left in a clean and tidy state.

We do request that you notify us immediately of any accidental damage so that we can make repairs or replacements for your benefit and that of the next guests.

    Complaints

Any problems or complaints about the property should be made to the owner at the time. Should the hirer remain dissatisfied the hirer should submit the complaint in writing within one week of leaving the property.

    Pets

Unfortunately at the moment we are unable to accommodate any pets.

    Smoking

Smoking inside the cottage is not permitted.

    Utilities

Gas for cooking purposes is included in the rental price, as is water. We do however request that you do not waste water as it is supplied through a meter and is rapidly becoming a very expensive commodity.

The rental price includes 15 Kwh of electricity per day. Any usage exceeding that limit will be calculated at the current EDF rate and deducted from the security bond.
